The entry fees from our runners cover the cost of t-shirts, finisher medals, the boathouse facility and the permits for the race. But it is our sponsors who provide the food and drink, runner swag and most importantly the financial support for our charitable efforts. While we do most certainly enjoy hosting this event for UltraRunners from all over the country, this is a primary fundraiser for the Hampton Rotary Club. We use the funds donated by our sponsors to further our charitable efforts locally, nationally and internationally. The contributions by these sponsors touch many more people than the runners who participate in this event.
